Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account — your email and name (via our auth provider).
• Documents & extracted data — contracts you upload and the dates/obligations extracted from them.
• Phone number — only if you opt into SMS reminders.
• Billing — handled by Stripe; we store a customer/subscription id, never card numbers.
• Usage — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To extract your key dates, schedule and deliver the reminders you configure, manage your subscription, and operate and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data only with providers that help us run ClauseCue:

• Clerk — authentication.
• Supabase — database and encrypted file storage for your uploads.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI extraction of dates from your documents.
• Resend — email delivery · Twilio — SMS delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing · Vercel — hosting.

SMS / text message reminders

If you opt in to SMS reminders, we collect your mobile number solely to send the contract-deadline reminders you configure. These are automated messages; message frequency varies and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile information, or your SMS opt-in/consent, with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number is shared only with Twilio, our messaging provider, and solely to deliver the texts you request. SMS consent is not shared with third parties under any circumstances.

Retention

We keep your documents and extracted data until you delete them or close your account. Deleting a scan removes it and its stored original; deleting your account removes everything (see below).

Your rights

You can export your data or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion); contact us to exercise them.

Security

Uploads are stored in a private bucket and served only via short-lived signed URLs. Secrets are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to what is needed to run the service.
